Virtual reality tours Jan. 21
Visitors can tour the Virtual Reality Applications Center's C4 facility in Black Engineering Friday, Jan. 21. Tours are 30 minutes long and may be scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. A tour may include up to 15 people. To schedule a tour, contact VRAC, (515) 294-3092.
Lego robot tourney Jan. 22
What inspires a 10-year old to want to be an engineer when she grows up? It could be the fun she had designing and building a LEGO robot for a FIRST LEGO League tournament. Iowa State's College of Engineering will host the state's tournament between 50 teams, Jan. 22.
