Jacqueline Garcia is the first member of her family to graduate from college. But her time at Iowa State has been different than a typical undergrad. The senior in political science came to Iowa State knowing that she wanted to be a lawyer. When she got here, she found the 3+3 Program, which allows pre-law students to earn their law degree in six years instead of seven. So, when Garcia graduates this spring, she'll also be finishing her first year of law school. Her pursuit of her dreams has been an inspiration for her parents and younger brother.
