    Iowa State University has opened the doors to its new, massive engineering facility, ushering in "a new era of excellence and national prominence." The 80,000-square-foot Therkildsen Industrial Engineering building, located on the southwest side of Howe Hall, gives the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering its own space for the first time in over 25 years.
