ISU BUSINESS WEEK TO FEATURE
LUNCHEON SPEAKER, E-COMMERCE SEMINAR

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University's College of Business will host Business Week Sept. 20 -- 24. Two highlight events are the annual luncheon event and an e-commerce seminar on Monday, Sept. 20. Both events are open to the public.

The kick-off Business Week Luncheon will feature ISU alumnus Michael Anderson, a 1979 marketing graduate who is now corporate vice-president for investors and public relations for Ameritrade Holding Corporation, Omaha, Neb.

Anderson will speak in the Great Hall of the ISU Memorial Union from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 20. His topic is "Internet Brokerage and the Input on Financial Markets." The cost for the luncheon is $4.

An e-commerce seminar will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 20 in Room 205 of Carver Hall. John Parks, director of the ISU Research Park, will moderate the event. Panelists will include Anderson, Stephen Ringlee of E-Markets, and Sridhar Ramaswami, associate professor of marketing, ISU College of Business. The seminar is free.
