ISU SUMMER JOB FAIR WILL BE FEB. 18

AMES, Iowa -- Employers with literally hundreds of positions to fill will be at the ISU Summer Job Fair on Thursday, Feb. 18.

The job fair will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. It is open to university and community college students. Job possibilities include everything from campus positions to overseas employment opportunities. Participating employers need to hire anywhere from 10 to 400 students for the summer.

The entire listing of employers registered for the ISU Summer Job Fair and positions they have available can be found at www.iastate.edu/~career_info/sjf99/sjf99.html.

Information commonly requested on application forms are the names and addresses of previous employers, dates of employment, high school and/or college academic information, and the applicant's interim and permanent addresses.

Beverly Madden, ISU Career Services director, will offer a seminar, "How to Land Your Ideal Summer Job," from 12:10 -- 12:50 p.m. in the adjoining Memorial Union Oak Room.
