WELL-KNOWN EXECUTIVE TO SPEAK AT IOWA FAMILY BUSINESS FORUM JAN. 6
AMES, Iowa -- David Weinberg, the former co-chairperson of Fel-Pro, an Illinois-based firm with more than 2,000 employees, will address the Iowa Family Business Forum in Des Moines on Jan. 6.
The Iowa Family Business Forums are a service of the Iowa Small Business Development Center, an arm of Iowa State University's College of Business. The forum will be at the Des Moines Club, 666 Grand Ave., Des Moines, from 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. Cost for the event is $249 per family.
Weinberg has been profiled in such noted business periodicals as "Fortune," "Newsweek," and "The Wall Street Journal." "Fortune" magazine also rated Fel-Pro as one of the four best companies to work for in the United States during Weinberg's tenure.
Weinberg is now president of David A. Weinberg, LLC, a firm specializing in advising small businesses, based in Chicago, Ill.

The Iowa Family Business Forum has been in existence since 1995. Events are attended by a wide variety of family business owners throughout Iowa.
