ROSENTHAL NAMED NEW DIRECTOR OF ADULT LEARNER AND COMMUTER STUDENT PROGRAMS AT ISU

AMES, Iowa -- Penny Rosenthal, coordinator of Adult and Graduate Student Services at Texas A&M University, College Station, has been named director of Adult Learner and Commuter Student Programs at Iowa State University. Her appointment is effective Sept. 14.

In her new position, Rosenthal will oversee programs for Iowa State's adult and commuter students. Her responsibilities will include coordinating and assessing these programs as well as collaborating with academic advisers and the admissions staff.

Rosenthal has been at Texas A&M since July 1997. She earned a B.S. in psychology/women's studies from Mankato State University, Minnesota, in 1994, and a master's degree in counseling and student personnel in 1997.
