ISU SPIRIT RALLY PLANNED FOR BIG 12 MEN'S TOURNAMENT
AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa State University Alumni Association, in conjunction with the ISU Athletic Department, will sponsor an Iowa State Spirit Rally at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament. The tournament will be held in Kansas City, Mar. 6 - 9.
The rally will be held two hours before the first Iowa State men's basketball game at the American Royal Arena Complex, just south of Kemper Arena. A television party will also be hosted for the first 500 fans unable to obtain tickets to the ISU game.
There will be food, music, appearances by ISU President Martin Jischke, Athletic Director Gene Smith and mascot Cy, as well as performances by the ISU Pep Band and Spirit Squads. All Cyclone fans and friends are welcome. Admission is $5, payable at the door.
Additional parties will follow as the Cyclones advance in the tournament.
