STATEMENT FROM MARTIN JISCHKE,
PRESIDENT, IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY
AMES, Iowa--The following statement was issued by Iowa State University President Martin Jischke following the arrest of ISU student DeAntrious Mitchell for allegedly filing a false report of an assault Oct. 18:
"I am deeply saddened by this whole incident and I am concerned for everyone who has been involved in it. We will do all we can to help Mr. Mitchell and others who have been affected by it."
