JISCHKE, ROLLINS DISCUSS DIVERSITY ISSUES AT DEC. 4 FORUM AT ISUAMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University President Martin Jischke will discuss diversity issues at ISU during a campus forum on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Jischke will be joined by Derrick Rollins, associate professor of chemical engineering and statistics and diversity adviser to the president's cabinet.
The forum, titled "Strategies for Change at ISU: A Forum on Diversity," will begin at noon in the Maintenance Shop of the Memorial Union.
Jischke and Rollins will make brief comments on campus diversity issues and then open up the discussion to members of the audience. Family and Consumer Science Dean Beverly Crabtree will moderate the forum. Mary Sawyer, associate professor of religious studies, will make introductory comments.
The forum is sponsored by the Student Union Board, Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, Diversity Steering Committee, Minority Student Affairs and Committee on Lectures (funded by the Government of the Student Body).
