AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University President Martin Jischke will lead 36 new ISU faculty and staff and three ISU students on a two-day Road Scholars tour of northeast Iowa, Oct. 4 and 5.
The purpose of the Road Scholars tour is to introduce new faculty and staff to the state of Iowa. The tour group travels the state by bus, visiting schools, businesses and farms. Tour stops will include Tama, Grundy Center, Waterloo, Waverly and Marshalltown.

EDITORS:Attached is the itinerary for the northeast Iowa Road Scholars tour. You are welcome to join the group at any point during the tour. The schedule is tight. If you would like to interview members of the tour group, you may want to do so while riding the tour bus for a short distance. John Anderson, interim director of ISU's University Relations, will accompany President Jischke on the tour. He can assist you in meeting tour members or making other arrangements.
