IOWA STATE CHOIRS TO APPEAR WITH DES MOINES SYMPHONY
AMES, Iowa -- Approximately 60 Iowa State University vocalists will perform with the Des Moines Symphony Oct. 12- 13 at the Des Moines Civic Center.
The Iowa State Singers, directed by ISU music professor Robert Molison, and members of the ISU Chamber Choir, directed by ISU music professor Jeffrey Prater, will perform Gustav Mahler's "Resurrection." This performance is a joint collaboration between the Des Moines Symphony, conducted by Joseph Giunta, the Des Moines Choral Society and the Drake University Choir.
- The Saturday, Oct. 12, performance will be at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $30.50, $25.25, $21 or$11.50.
- The Sunday, Oct. 13, performance will be at 3 p.m. Tickets are $23, $18.75, $14.50 or $8.
Unsold tickets will be made available one-hour before each performance for purchase by students. The tickets will cost $5 and a student identification must be shown.
Tickets are available through TicketMaster at (515) 243-1888 in Des Moines or (515) 233-1888 in Ames. There is a 20 percent discount on purchases of 10 or more tickets.
