This national award annually recognizes business communication teaching or training, positive student and peer evaluations, conference presentations, and research awards and publications. An Iowa State faculty member since 1976, Kienzler was named an assistant dean in the Graduate College and director of the university's Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) program in 2001. The PFF program supplements graduate student and post-doctorate preparation. Kienzler has taught professional writing and communication to thousands of undergraduate and graduate students.
