Hendrickson succeeds James McElroy, who will return to the faculty. Hendrickson has been chair of LOMIS since July 2001. He came to Iowa State in 1996 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as an assistant professor of management information systems. He was promoted to associate professor in 1999. Hendrickson received his B.S. (1980) and the MBA (1981) from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Mo., and the Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Ark.
