Edelman Award for her accomplishments in public relations. The award, sponsored by Edelman Public Relations and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), recognizes outstanding public relations students. Sondgeroth will receive a $1,000 cash award and a paid three-month internship at Edelman's Washington D.C. office. Sondgeroth was president of her PRSSA chapter and now serves as PRSSA's national vice president of internships and job services. She is an intern for Christopher Rants, majority leader of the Iowa House of Representatives. Edelman is a global communications firm. The Daniel J. Edelman/PRSSA award has been awarded annually since 1990 to PRSSA members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership ability and a commitment to a career in the field.
