Sanjeev Agarwal and Sridhar Ramaswami, both associate professors of marketing, were honored for a 1992 article titled "Choice of Foreign Market Entry Mode: Impact of Ownership, Location and Internationalization Factors." The award recognizes the one out of 35-40 research papers published annually by the quarterly, scholarly journal that has made the greatest impact a decade from its original publication, said JIBS Editor Thomas Brewer, a professor of marketing at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Brewer said judges consider the originality of the research and the number of times the article has been cited by later research efforts. Agarwal and Ramaswami will be recognized at the academy's annual meeting June 28 - July 3 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
