GRAD AND PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL DAY AT ISU ON OCT. 10

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University's annual Graduate and Professional School Day will be on Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union.

"This event is for all ISU students, undergraduate and graduate, and anyone considering graduate school, either now or in the future. Students from other schools and individuals throughout the state are also encouraged to participate," said Beverly Madden, Director of ISU Career Services.

This event provides students the opportunity to explore and discuss graduate and professional school options with over 90 representatives from universities and colleges nationwide, including ISU's Graduate College. Students can explore admission requirements, costs, time required to complete programs, student/faculty ratio, employment prospects for graduates, and student and community life at the various institutions.

A series of 50-minute seminars on preparing for graduate work will be offered on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union. Pre-registration is not required. The seminars are free and open to the public.
