Hendrickson joined the Iowa State faculty in 1996. His research focuses on virtual organizations, technology acceptance, cross-national differences in computer-use ethics, the impact of the information technology function on organizational structure, and team development on computer-mediated decision processes. Hendrickson is a charter member of the Association of Information Systems. Hendrickson has 12 years of industry experience in information systems consulting with firms such as Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Sprint. "Dr. Hendrickson brings to this position not only strong scholarship and innovative teaching, but valuable industry experience in the important area of information technology," said Benjamin Allen, dean of the College of Business. "He is a valuable addition to the leadership team during this exciting time in the history of the college."
