The chapter was recognized at Beta Alpha Psi’s annual meeting. The recognition includes a $1,000 award from the KPMG Foundation. Beta Alpha Psi recognizes academic achievement and encourages ethnic, social and public responsibility in the accounting field. Iota Beta’s president is Kristi McConnell, a senior in accounting from Ames. The faculty advisor is William Dilla, associate professor of accounting. -30- |
