Terry Branstad, students and a journalist will participate in a post-election analysis and discussion at Iowa State University on Thursday, Nov. 9. The panel will be at noon in the Campanile Room, Memorial Union. It is open to the public. Panelists include Branstad; Mike Glover, Associated Press political reporter; Jeani Murray, Iowa Democratic Party executive director; Jason Darrah, Iowa State student and president of the ISU College Republicans; and Debbie Kattenhorn, Iowa State student and president of ISU Democrats. Steffen Schmidt, Iowa State professor of political science, will moderate. The panel will discuss national and local aspects of the 2000 elections and take questions from the audience. The panel is sponsored by the department of political science. -30-
