| 3-27-00 Contacts: Randy Alexander, Residence, (515) 294-5636 Steve Sullivan, News Service, (51) 294-3720 NEW ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RESIDENCE NAMED AT ISU AMES, Iowa – Gregory Lee, former deputy director of network and computing systems at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., has been named assistant director of residence at Iowa State University. Lee begins his new position on today (March 27.) He will serve as chief financial officer for the department of residence. He was deputy director, finance and administration, for network and computing systems at Cornell University from 1996 to 1999. From 1992 to 1996, he was manager of business operations for Cornell Information Technologies. Lee received a B.S. in accounting from Ithaca College in 1981. Lee replaces David Popelka, who left the department of residence last year when he was named associate director of the ISU Computation Center. -30- |
