AMES, Iowa — Author and political commentator Katie Pavlich will speak at Iowa State University Wednesday, March 4.
Pavlich will present "Sexual Assault on Campus: A Conservative Perspective" at 8 p.m., in the Memorial Union Great Hall. Her talk is free and open to the public.
Pavlich's book, "Assault and Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Their War on Women," presents her views on a war on women waged by the Democratic Party. Pavlich joined Fox in 2013 and is a frequent panelist on the network's "Outnumbered." The program features a panel of four women and one man who tackle top headlines from all angles and perspectives.
Pavlich also is the news editor for Townhall.com and a contributing editor to Townhall Magazine. She is a National Review Washington Fellow. As a reporter, Pavlich has covered topics ranging from the 2012 presidential election to the Second Amendment and border issues. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in journalism.
Pavlich's talk is co-sponsored by the College Republicans, Young America's Foundation and the Committee on Lectures, which is funded by the Government of the Student Body.
