The suspect who allegedly showed a gun near the Lied Recreation Center Monday evening (Jan. 28) has been identified and turned himself in to the Story County sheriff's office. Criminal charges are pending.
ISU police reported that the suspect was allegedly involved in a road rage incident that began in the vicinity of Lincoln Way and Grand Avenue. The victim reported being followed by the the suspect to a parking lot outside Lied. The suspect allegedly approached the victim, began yelling and pulled a handgun from his belt. The suspect reportedly kept the gun at his side and did not point the gun at the victim. The victim fled the area and the suspect left, as well.
